I woke up on Sunday morning not feeling very motivated to go on a hike that we had planned with my dad the night before. But I still decided to go for it because I knew I would regret it later in the afternoon if I didn’t do it.
We set off for the Tai Tam Waterworks Heritage Trail in the morning near our flat. The hike lasted around two hours and was so beautiful. It was a good feeling to go away from the busy city and enjoy nature a bit more. I don’t go hiking a lot but when I do, I love it because I have time to reflect a bit about life and myself. When I go with my dad, I also like to share a nice conversation. We finished the hike a bit before lunch time, it was such a great feeling.
Afterwards, we rewarded ourselves with a dim sum and steamed bun meal at Din Tai Fung, which a nice traditional Chinese restaurant that I really recommend everyone to check out. After that, I was a bit tired from the hike and decided to take a nap.
In the evening, I was excited to join Jasmine Tookes and Josephine Skriver on their Instagram live-stream for a 20-minute abs workout. They have created an inspirational Instagram account where they share a bit more about their workouts (@joja).
