You know what I hate the most? One word: regrets. Nothing can make your life more awful than that.
Regrets are the result of what we didn’t do, of what we were scared to do. The thing is that fear is most of the time temporary whereas regrets seemed to be engraved for a lifetime.
I know that for a lot of people changes are scary but, trust me, regrets are worst.
Not going to lie, I also used to be the person who would always regret not saying or doing something. But I learned from that. And the advice I would give to anyone today is to take some risks. You never know what can happen. Sometimes it’s all about crossing that line that you think of as your limit. When you start doing things you never thought in a thousand years that you would be able to do, you begin to get to know yourself a bit more. You actually realise that you can do way more than what you think. Life is all about trusting feelings and taking chances.
Whether it’s asking or saying something, you should go for it. Honestly, even if you go for it and it doesn’t work out, you still win. You still had guts enough to head straight into something that frightened you. That type of bravery can take you places.
