Turning 18 years old is like opening a new chapter. I wanted to share with you 18 things that I’ve learned about life and beyond.
- Life is too short for worries
- Every moment counts, even though it may not seem important
- You are responsible for your happiness
- You can do whatever you want to do if you can visualise it
- Small things in life are what counts sometimes the most
- You’ll never be satisfied if you always ask and want for more
- You can always be happy if you start by looking at what you’ve already experienced and possess
- Always be grateful for the people who surround you and don’t feel bad for having people in your life who turn their back on you because, in the end, they just count as a life lesson
- Live every day like it’s your last
- Always be yourself and never lie to your true self just to fit in
- If it’s meant to be, it’ll be
- It’s ok not to have a huge number of friends because what matters most is the quality of the friendship
- Just let go of people who are only here when the sun shines. Sometimes letting go is the only way to heal
- Material things are not your source of happiness but experiences, moments, friendships, family are
- Your parents only want the best for you
- There is always room for improvement and we are here to learn and grow, not to prove anything to anybody else
- Stop talking about what you want, just take action and do it. If not now, when?
- Make time for what you love doing
